Instructions

This removal driver is designed to extract screws with damaged sockets while minimizing further damage to the screw and surrounding structures.
Although it may not be able to successfully remove severely damaged screws in 100% of cases, it is easier to handle, time-saving, and minimizes complications compared to conventional removal methods.
Assemble the Handles, Body, Wrench, and Wrench Tip according to the specifications of the Wedge IOR series.
The removal process should be performed by inserting the driver into the screw socket and turning it counterclockwise carefully and slowly.

  • Before the screw socket becomes severely damaged, select the appropriate Wedge IOR series for the procedure.
  • Do not fully assemble the Body and Wrench before insertion. When fully tightened, the driver tip expands, preventing proper engagement with the screw socket. The Wrench Tip must remain slightly retracted before being inserted into the screw socket.
  • Insert the Wrench as deeply as possible into the screw socket.
While applying gentle pressure in the direction of the screw, slowly turn the Handle counterclockwise.
  • As the Handle is turned counterclockwise, resistance will be felt as the driver engages with the screw.
Continue turning counterclockwise, maintaining steady pressure. Apply gradual force while turning to prevent tool damage and ensure a high success rate in removing damaged screws.
  • Once the screw has been fully removed, release the driver as follows: Hold the flat section of the Body and the Wrench with a plier or spanner, then turn the Wrench counterclockwise to detach the screw from the driver.
Precautions for use

If the screw socket is severely damaged, complete removal may not be possible. It is recommended to use the device before extensive damage occurs.
When turning the Handle counterclockwise to remove a screw, rotate slowly to ensure effective extraction. Excessive speed may reduce effectiveness and damage the Wrench.
This product must be properly cleaned and sterilized before first use and reuse.
This device is not intended for loosening metal-to-metal bonds other than locking plates and locking screws.
